Sea’s rocking one time
Alex Kanevsky is a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania based painter who teaches at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. Kanevsky was raised in Russia and was trained in both Lithuania and the United States, a situation he describes as letting him not be tied to either tradition, and letting him wander in both influences. His work is an equal balance of in focus and out of focus, creating fascinating images. Here is his series “Waves”.
